News & Events: New LacriCATH Feature: Simultaneous Bilateral Inflation Quest Medical, Inc. announces a new feature available in all LacriCATH 2mm and 3mm DCP bilateral procedure kits (product code DCP213-BI and DCP315-BI).All DCP bilateral kits will be shipped with a stopcock to allow simultaneous bilateral inflation. This will be a standard feature and will not affect the procedure kit price. The benefit of inflating both catheters simultaneously for Balloon DCP procedures reduces the procedure time therefore reducing anesthesia time for the patient. The physician can attach both catheters to a primed stopcock and inflation device, then proceed with inflation of the catheters as normal. Instructions for use (IFU) are included in the procedure kits.
